That annoying mimicking person in your energy falls into one of the following categories depending on your belief system.
In occult and esoteric practices, the attempt to magically transfer or siphon someone's personal traits, virtues, or life force to someone else is known as sympathetic magic or imitative magic. This concept operates on the "Law of Contagion" (the belief that things once connected maintain an unseen link) and the "Law of Similarity" (the idea that like creates like). Practitioners who attempt this believe that virtues, talents, or blessings are tangible spiritual entities that can be siphoned, captured, or redirected to another person.
In secular terms, when someone adopts or leeches off your positive traits — such as your charisma, morals, or social standing — to make themselves look better, it is referred to as social mirroring or narcissistic supply-seeking. Those who do this are often characterized as exploiters or parasites.
When people or brands merely perform or publicly claim moral virtues without actually doing the work, it is known as virtue signalling. In various global folk religions and spiritual traditions, the loss of one's virtue is feared as a literal "spiritual theft" that leaves the victim drained and the beneficiary undeservingly elevated.
This only works if you allow it. No one can be you better than you — just keep being you. They will exhaust themselves and end up with less than what they started with. Nobody is bigger than the program jajaja. Nothing to be afraid of. Just be the best you without apology — the fakes and the mimics will off themselves naturally.
Nothing to be afraid of.
